DNA – Now What?
What You Are Learning Today Matters For A Lifetime

You might want to print this page out or grab a journal and jot down your answers to the following questions as you take the next step in your study.

Read again 1 Samuel 16:14-23

In our study we built around two ideas that we are going to give you a chance to revisit.

The first idea was Practice, practice, practice!

Take an inventory of your life. Is there something that you had done in the past that required practice?

What was it?

How much practice are did it take?

Why did it take as much practice as it did?

Did you do the practice required or did you quit?
Why did you answer what you just did?

Most things worth doing,  most skill sets worth having, and most things that require some learned behaviors take practice. Now think back over whatever you were thinking about above.

How has the thing you learned to do benefiting or being used in your life today?

If it is not being used, how might you use it?
Do you need to use it?

How might God want you to use a skill you  have learned in the past to enhance your life (and the life of others) in a good way ?

The second point was…Use it..Don’t Lose it!

Honest response, how will you use the things you have learned to deepen your commitment, your obedience, and walk with Christ?

Do you need help with this question? Is so, then don’t hesitate to ask for help

If you want to talk about this more take a moment and drop Jeff Dixon an e-mail at jdixon@touchandchange.com  You can ask a question, offer some additional thoughts, or even ask something else about your journey of faith. Please make sure your reference “Learning” in the subject line when you write.
