This week in Sacred Space we once again return to our look at The Tabernacle. In doing so, we address a huge topic for people everywhere. This is something that people who already know God struggle with and it also impacts people who don’t know God. Most people, in some way or another, long to be close to God. The problem arises because what we don’t realize is that closeness has a cost. This is vividly illustrated and brought to life in what we understand about The Tabernacle in the Old Testament. But don’t get so lost in the look toward the past that you miss the impact it has in the here and now. Yes, closeness has a cost, but once you know it – then it can happen for you. The end result, you can be close to God. Get ready, here we go…off to The Tabernacle.
