Good morning, everyone! Happy Easter!
Today we gather to celebrate the most incredible event in human history: the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we dive into our final sermon of the “Questions from the Carpenter” series, we’ll explore the powerful encounter that two disciples had on the road to Emmaus.
Jesus didn’t just rise from the dead; He also asked poignant questions that still resonate with us today.

Today, as we countdown to Easter on this Palm Sunday we continue our series called, Questions from a Carpenter. We are exploring some important questions that were asked by Jesus in the pages of Scripture. We have already found out that Jesus sure does ask good questions! His questions can change our lives. This third installment of the series drops us into the longest conversation that Jesus ever has about human emotion. It is fascinating to consider the emotion He chose to spend the most time talking about. But it is even more amazing that tucked into the conversation Jesus asks, not one, not two, not even three … no – He asks EIGHT questions! Those are the questions we explore and learn from this morning. Get ready, it will be fun.

We are counting down to Easter and along the way are dropping in on conversations that Jesus has with others. We discovered last week while Jesus is the answer, He also asks a lot of questions. In those questions we make some great discoveries about who we are supposed to be. We find out what Jesus has created us to be. And perhaps most importantly we are finding that the questions He is asking really do help us find the answers we are all so desperately seeking. The question we look at today happens at a dinner gathering. It is question that races to the heart and refuses to let go. Get ready, today we are going to see the question.
