Rev the Engine of Faith – The Leap (Session One)

Welcome to a brand new Celebration Worship series here at The Church @ 434. It is entitled – The Leap, Daring to Trust God (Completely). Over the next few weeks we are going to discover that one small step for each of us can lead to one giant leap of faith. This series challenges believers to stop playing it safe and start living a faith that dares to believe, risk, and commit—just like the heroes of Scripture and we illustrate these ideas with some of the daredevils of history.

Today we begin and Rev the Engine of Faith. We explore Genesis 12:1–9, the calling of Abram and are reminded that God has called each of us. And we will mention, Evel Knievel – The fearless motorcycle jumper who launched into the unknown, often without knowing if he’d land safely. Sometimes when we rev the engines of faith and take off, we aren’t sure how the landing is going to go. But we find it is worth the risk when God calls us! Get ready to take The Leap!
