Today is the final installment in our series “Shades” – Together we have made a lot of discoveries and have been challenged to rethink HOW we see things in our world. We even got a bonus session last where we talked about the Greatest Homecoming. Today we go to a very familiar and often quoted verse. This verse is often quoted in times of struggle, but let’s unpack it to really understand how it can transform our hopelessness into hopefulness. What you are getting ready to see, yes – really see is that the verse that gives us the prescription of how to view the world because it helps us understand how God sees it

Today we pick back up with our series called Shades. After a week off we want to take a quick review. In Cracked Lenses we saw how we must move from a life of regret to a life of redemption. In Foggy Lenses we discovered that our lives don’t have to be defined by anxiety and worry but instead can be lives of assurance. Today, we find there is still another type of lens that we often view life through. It is something that everyone battles and is very real. Dark Lenses…these are the types of lenses that keep us fixated on the circumstantial and blinded from the spiritual. These lenses have to be changed and with His help they can! Get ready, it will be fun!

In the series Shades, we are challenging you with the question – What kind of Shades are you wearing?
Last week, we talked about Cracked Lenses, and today, we’re tackling what happens when worry clouds our vision—like trying to see through foggy glasses.
Do you find yourself wrecked with worry way too often? If so, then what do you say? Let’s try to defog the fog!

Today, we embark on a new series titled “Shades,” where we’ll explore how our perspectives shape our lives and faith.
We don’t see life as it is – we see it through the lenses we wear.
Some wear cracked, dirty, or distorted lenses and see everything through the fog of defeat, fear, or regret.
Healthy people wear lenses of promise, where they see everything with faith, hope and trust in God.
The difference isn’t the scenery – it is the clarity and the condition of the lenses.
What kind of SHADES are you wearing?

The Unforgettables is a series about discovering how to live an unforgettable life based on lessons we learn from some unforgettable people in the pages of Scripture. Once we hear their stories we never forget them and hopefully the life lessons will change us in the here and now. In the Unforgettable story of Ehud we learned to Ask (for help) Add (some muscle) & Activate (a plan). In the Unforgettable life of Dorcas we found we must Be (willing) Build (Relationships) & Boldly (Share). In the study today we add a new chapter and find out how to put our faith into action.
