Questions from the Carpenter Series
How is your life going? Seriously – How is your life right now?
You may have heard it said that Jesus is the answer – and He is …But EXACTLY what is He the answer to?
In this surprising series we will discover that there is a huge difference between learning about Jesus and learning from Jesus – and if we are going to learn from Jesus, then we better get ready – Because Jesus has some questions!
The Valley Series
The Valley… a place of mystery, fear, excitement, and adventure. Some do their best to avoid the valley – others can’t wait to experience it.
Are you a Valley Gal or a Valley Guy?
The answer to what sounds like a relatively silly question is actually, at the heart of your answer – extremely important and transformational.
This series emphasizes how valleys, often seen as places of hardship, can become profound encounters with God, deepening our faith and understanding of His character. Each sermon can explore personal testimonies, scriptural references, and practical applications for navigating our own valleys.
In the Valleys We Discover Just How Real God Is.
The Grind and the Glory Series
This series invites us to see the importance of learning to embrace the events, struggles and challenges of life as a pathway to experiencing God’s ultimate glory.
It emphasizes that success is not instant but is cultivated through faithfulness, perseverance, and small daily decisions. Each sermon will encourage believers to appreciate their journey, trusting that every moment of effort contributes to a grander narrative crafted by God.

It is essential for each one of us as we follow Jesus, the power unleashed by forgiveness is able to change, impact, and dictate the direction of a person’s life. Faith in Action (s2e10) – Stop Intending, Start Directing: A 3-Word Spiritual Reset – Word Up (wk 2)
Are you tired of feeling like you’re spinning your wheels in your faith? The Bible tells us to strain forward to what lies ahead (Philippians 3:13-14), but that requires a clear direction. This message will challenge you to go beyond good intentions and establish a spiritual heading.
We’ll guide you through a practical, thought-provoking exercise to distill your current life journey into three essential words. This crucial step is about radical honesty—the key that unlocks genuine change. Join us as we narrow our focus and prepare to discover the one word that will define your purpose for the year ahead.

Bridge to Truth (s2e6) – The Visceral Cost of Worship (Then & Now) – Sacred Wonderings (wk 1)
Join us for “Sacred Wondering” as we delve into the often-misunderstood world of Tabernacle worship, specifically the outer courtyard and the altar of sacrifice. Forget your assumptions about ancient religious practices – this wasn’t a “drop-off” service where priests did all the work.
In this powerful session, we explore Leviticus chapter 1 and uncover the shocking, personal, and graphic details of what it truly meant for an Israelite to bring an offering to God. From personally choosing a spotless animal, to laying hands on its head, to slaughtering it yourself and then skinning and preparing it – worship was an immersive, bloody, and visceral experience.
Jeff challenges us to understand that this intense, hands-on process wasn’t just ritual; it was a profound act of identification and transfer, where the worshipper literally felt the weight and cost of atonement. Just as ancient Israelites couldn’t outsource their sacrifice, we cannot outsource our worship today.
This session is a vivid reminder of the holiness of God, the brutal cost of sin, and the immense, personal sacrifice of Jesus on the cross that ultimately made a permanent way for us to enter God’s presence. Prepare to be challenged, deeply moved, and gain a profound new appreciation for the Passion of the Christ and what it truly means to engage in worship.

A Walk Through the Carpenter’s Shop (s9e30) – The Lie Behind “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”
That famous Grammy-winning song told us to just “be happy.” It’s catchy, simple, and completely wrong. From a biblical perspective, the advice to chase personal happiness is a trap—a “lie from the pit of hell that smells of smoke.”
In this message from The Carpenter’s Shop, we dismantle this popular worldly wisdom and uncover a profound truth: Happiness is not a goal to be pursued; it’s a byproduct of a life lived with purpose. Discover the crucial difference between the fleeting feeling of happiness and the deep, unshakeable security of joy that comes from seeking God first. If you’re tired of chasing a feeling that never lasts, it’s time to learn how to build your life on something more real.

The Clash (s4e14) – Problems, Problems, Problems
You’ve prayed. You’ve pleaded. But the problems are still there, and God feels distant. In this powerful episode of The Clash, Jeff Dixon and Dr. Chris Whaley address the raw reality of navigating life’s storms. They remind us that God never promised a problem-free life, but He did promise a presence-filled life.
Learn how to lean on the community of the church, how to give your problems to God without taking them back, and what to do when His silence feels deafening. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and questioning where God is in the middle of your mess, this conversation will offer you biblical hope, practical wisdom, and the strength to face your challenges with renewed faith.
