Today we wrap up our Summer series called – Ducks in a Row. Using the Bible and some rubber ducks we have illustrated how we must learn to get our ducks in a row to effectively and successfully follow Jesus. In today’s Duck-tastic series conclusion, we dive into Matthew 28:19-20 as we line up our lives (get in a row) with God’s mission for us. Get ready to take flight and quack with a purpose for the Kingdom of God!
Today we continue our Ducks in a Row series. Hopefully you have been with us each week on this adventure. We are getting quite a collection of unique ducks that really do line up and help us as we strive to be who we were created to be. We have found the Trust Duck, which is the foundation of what we are doing. There has been the addition of the Prayer Duck, that connects us to the Father in powerful ways, and then last week we added the Speedy Duck – which reminds us of the importance and urgency of loving and encouraging one another. Today we “quack” open the Word of God into the Psalms and learn how to take advantage of the “feathered fortress” God has given us. It will be a great day as once again – we get our ducks in a row!
Get ready to take another step to get your Ducks in a Row. Today we take flight in a fun-filled, faith-building adventure as we learn to soar together in The Flying V formation. So grab your feathers, make sure you get your newest rubber duck before you get into Celebration Worship and let’s take flight as we learn about community and add depth to our faith.
In this series we are learning to get our Ducks in a Row. Once you make the decision to really TRUST Jesus, then you start living it out in the real world. In the second session in this series we discover that you need some protection in a sometimes tough world. Like an umbrella for a duck in a rain storm, we find that we can waddle right through the fiery darts of doubt, disappointment, and despair and the puddles down drown us. Instead we splash and quack our way through them. Practical, insightful, and useful – this study helps us align our lives with God’s will for our lives and helps us take another step toward the best version of ourselves.
There are moments in life that most of us have felt like, acted like, or thought like quacking, waddling ducks.
We noisily wobble off in every direction, thinking we know the best path to find the pond.
Sadly, when left on our own, we make an ugly mess out of our lives.
Today we can take the first step toward getting our ducks in a row and discovering that we were created to be more than one ugly duckling.
